For data collection, the Achievement Goal Questionnaire and Academic Procrastination Questionnaire and student’s marks at end of the second semester, as a general test held in all cities of Iran, were used. The evaluated model had good fitness indicators. The results of structural equation modeling showed that mastery orientation goal had a significant negative impact on academic procrastination (B=-0.40) but had no significant impact on math performance. Mastery avoidance goal had significant positive impact on academic procrastination (B= 0.34) and had significant negative impact on math performance (B= -0.14). Performance orientation goal had a significant negative impact on academic procrastination (B=-0.18) and had significant positive impact on math performance (B= 0.22). Performance avoidance goal had no significant effect on academic procrastination and math performance.According to the results, by changing the orientation of the target, it is possible to reduce or correct procrastination and improve math performance. هدف از این پژوهش، مدل‌یابی روابط بین اهداف پیشرفت و تعلل‌ورزی تحصیلی با عملکرد ریاضی دانش‌آموزان دختر اول دبیرستان (دوره دوم) یزد بود. بدین منظور ۳۰۰ دانش‌آموز به روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای انتخاب شدند و به منظور گردآوری اطلاعات، از پرسش‌نامه‌های جهت‌گیری هدف و پرسش‌نامه اهمال‌کاری تحصیلی و نمره ریاضی پایان نیمسال دوم تحصیلی که به صورت هماهنگ کشوری برگزار شد، استفاده گردید. مدل ارزیابی شده از شاخص‌های برازندگی خوبی برخوردار بود. نتایج مدل معادلات ساختاری نشان داد که متغیر هدف تسلط- گرایشی تأثیر منفی و معناداری بر تعلل‌ورزی تحصیلی (40/0-=B) داشت؛ ولی تأثیر معناداری بر عملکرد ریاضی نداشت. متغیر هدف تسلط- اجتنابی تأثیر مثبت و معناداری بر تعلل‌ورزی تحصیلی (34/0=B) و تأثیر منفی و معناداری بر عملکرد ریاضی (14/0-=B) داشت. متغیر هدف عملکرد- گرایشی نیز تأثیر منفی و معناداری بر تعلل‌ورزی تحصیلی (18/0-=B) و تأثیر مثبت و معناداری بر عملکرد ریاضی (22/0=B) داشت. متغیر هدف عملکرد- اجتنابی تأثیر معناداری بر تعلل‌ورزی تحصیلی و عملکرد ریاضی نداشت. با توجه به نتایج به دست آمده، از طریق تغییر در جهت‌گیری هدف، می‌توان اقدام به کاهش تعلل‌ورزی یا اصلاح آن نمود و عملکرد ریاضی را ارتقاء داد. https://jsp.uma.ac.ir/article_813_d23cf997df4518987485595ef4451f8c.pdf
